How are biological samples shipped?
The samples can be sent to our laboratories via express courier.
The shipment of biological samples must be carried out using the provided shipping kit, designed to comply with UN3373 regulations (European regulations for the transport of biological samples). All packaging used for transporting biological samples destined for Eurofins Genoma Laboratories complies with European UN3373 regulations.
For the transport and shipment of biological samples, they must be properly packaged in triple packaging, following the provisions set out in Circular No. 16/1994 of the Ministry of Health and Circular No. 3/2003 of the Ministry of Health currently in force.
Correctly sending biological samples allows the sample to reach its destination in optimal time and condition for analysis, ensuring the safety of laboratory personnel and the reliability of the result.
