Eurofins Genoma’s quality system is a well-integrated and firmly established process across all company procedures, with the aim of ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our stakeholders. Implementing a quality system does not simply mean complying with standardized procedures designed to optimize processes.

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Eurofins Genoma Laboratory is certified under UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and regularly takes part in external quality controls entrusted to institutions recognized at both national and international level.

Accreditation under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 (Forensic Genetics)
Eurofins Genoma Laboratory has also obtained, for its Milan site, accreditation from the Italian accreditation body ACCREDIA under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for Forensic Genetics testing, further demonstrating that the laboratory ensures the highest quality standards.

Accreditation with the Regional Health Service (SSR)
Since 2018, Eurofins Genoma Laboratory has been an SMeL (Laboratory Medicine Service) accredited by the Lombardy Region. Accreditation with the Regional Health Service represents a fundamental step toward improving the quality of care and ensures the protection of citizens through verification of organizational appropriateness, prescribing appropriateness, and the quality of analytical production.
Like every accredited SMeL, Eurofins Genoma makes use of Internal Quality Control (IQC) systems and activates External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs.

ISO 15189:2013 Accreditation obtained for NIPT analyses (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing)

The entire analytical process is subject to constant monitoring by specialized operators and to internal procedures that ensure continuous traceability of the analyzed samples.
Thanks to the above organizational model, Eurofins Genoma is continuously improving in order to always provide a high-profile service.
